About this opportunity

<p>The Nanyang Research Programme Junior Researcher (NRPjr) is a sister programme to NTU's Nanyang Research Programme, targeted at Year 3 and 4 students in selected Secondary Schools and Integrated Programme (IP) Schools. Participants work in pairs from the same school on a research project under the supervision of NTU faculty and researchers, supported by a teacher mentor from their school.</p><ul><li>Eligibility: Secondary 3, Secondary 4, IP Year 3, and IP Year 4 students from participating schools</li><li>Projects are offered by multiple NTU colleges — Computing and Data Science, Engineering, Science, Humanities/Arts/Social Sciences, Nanyang Business School, NIE — and by NTU's research institutions and centres</li><li>Eight months of research activities run from April to December under NTU supervision</li><li>Participants submit a research paper in January of the following year and sit an oral presentation assessment in late February or early March</li><li>Pairs are supported throughout by a teacher mentor who works closely with the NRPjr supervisor</li></ul><p>Applications are coordinated through the student's school, which must be a participating NRPjr school.</p>
