About this opportunity

<p>The Science Research Programme (SRP) is a research attachment jointly run by MOE's Gifted Education Branch and the NUS Faculty of Science, opening up real, supervised research to selected JC1 / IP Year 5 students. Projects span mathematical, scientific, medical, information technology and engineering fields, with the Mathematics strand hosted under NUS Mathematics with additional support from NTU and the polytechnics.</p><ul><li>Eligibility: JC1 H2 or IP Year 5 students with demonstrated interest and aptitude in scientific / mathematical research</li><li>Entry: students apply to the Research Methods Module (RMM); selected participants continue into the H3 SRP (examinable) or enrichment (non-examinable) track</li><li>Students work under academic mentors on either lab-based or non-lab projects</li><li>H3 SRP projects may be submitted for assessment as an H3 subject and must go beyond H2 content</li><li>Outcomes include supervised research experience, a completed project, mentorship, and reference letters from NUS academics</li></ul><p>Applications are routed through the student's JC or IP school in collaboration with MOE GEB and NUS Faculty of Science.</p>
