About this opportunity

<p>The Media Education Scholarship (MES) is an IMDA-led scholarship co-sponsored by leading media companies to nurture future industry leaders in Singapore's media sector. Scholars are matched with a sponsoring media company and groomed for a media professional or leadership role during the bond period.</p><ul><li>Open to Singapore citizens who have applied to or are enrolled in a full-time media-related undergraduate or postgraduate programme</li><li>IMDA sponsors tuition and compulsory university fees; sponsoring company pays an annual living allowance</li><li>Training, internship, and career opportunities in media management, editorial, interactive media, journalism, and TV production</li><li>Separate MES (Film) track for aspiring independent filmmakers, with tuition and compulsory fees funded by IMDA</li><li>Over 200 scholars have gone on to roles as film and TV directors, game developers, and visual effects artists</li><li>Male applicants must have completed or be exempted from National Service</li></ul><p>Applications open annually from January to March at www.imtalent.sg/mes; email MES@imda.gov.sg for enquiries.</p>
