About this opportunity

<p>The NUS Science Research Programme (SRP) is a long-established research attachment programme run by the NUS Faculty of Science in collaboration with the Ministry of Education's Gifted Education Branch (GEB). It places capable JC1 and IP Year 5 students on year-plus research projects at NUS and its partner research institutions, with information technology and computing among the available research areas.</p><ul><li>Eligibility: 17- and 18-year-old students from junior colleges and Integrated Programme (IP) schools in Singapore</li><li>Students can enrol in either the H3 version (examinable, counts toward the A-Level H3 module) or the enrichment version (non-examinable)</li><li>Projects span mathematical, scientific, medical, information technological, and engineering fields</li><li>Mentors are drawn from the NUS Faculty of Science and Faculty of Engineering, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, DSO National Laboratories, the Institute for Infocomm Research, the Institute of Materials Research & Engineering, and the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore</li><li>Programme culminates in a presentation at the annual Science Research Congress</li></ul><p>Applications are coordinated through the student's school and the MOE Gifted Education Branch — speak to your school's SRP coordinator for current application details.</p>
