<p>The Singapore International Music Competition (SIMC) is an annual piano and violin competition for young musicians under 30, run by the International Performing Arts and Cultural Organization Singapore. The 5th edition runs through 2026, culminating in a live gala concert and award ceremony in Singapore.</p><ul><li>Application deadline: 30 September 2026</li><li>Gala concert and award ceremony: December 2026 at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, Singapore</li><li>Six age-based categories from Cat. A (≤6) to Cat. F (19–30)</li><li>Entry fee: S$150 (Cat. A–B), S$170 (Cat. C–D), S$190 (Cat. E–F)</li><li>Over S$23,000 in awards: scholarships to international masterclasses (Finland, Germany, Slovenia, Denmark), recital opportunities, digital distribution, and crystal trophies</li></ul><p>Applicants submit an unedited video showing hands and face via the online entry form. Jury evaluates on stylistic awareness, technical ability, musicality, tone, and presentation.</p>
