<p>Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design is the first course in the Google UX Design Professional Certificate on Coursera, taught by Google UX designers and researchers. It introduces the field of UX — what UX designers do, who they work with, and the core principles behind usable, accessible, and equity-focused products.</p><ul><li>Four modules covering the UX field, the design thinking framework, accessibility and equity-focused design, and design sprints</li><li>Approximately 1 week at 10 hours per week (can be stretched further at learner's pace)</li><li>Beginner level — no prior experience required</li><li>Hands-on activities that simulate real-world UX design scenarios</li><li>Free to audit; a shareable Certificate from Google is available through the paid Coursera Certificate track, with financial aid offered</li></ul><p>Learners enrol directly on the Coursera course page; enrolment also adds them to the full Google UX Design Professional Certificate.</p>
