<p>The AYDA Awards (formerly the Asia Young Designer Awards) is an annual architecture and interior design competition run by Nippon Paint for tertiary design students across Asia. The Singapore leg is open to interior design and architecture students studying in Singapore.</p><ul><li>Submit a project in either the Architecture or Interior Design category responding to the 2026/2027 theme, "Converge: Embracing Hyperlocal".</li><li>Open to interior design students in their second year and above and architecture students in their third year and above, with less than one year of professional work experience; one entry per student.</li><li>No entry fee.</li><li>2026/2027 Singapore timeline: submissions open until 31 December 2026 (23:59 SGT); preliminary judging in February 2027; national judging and awards ceremony in March 2027.</li><li>National Gold winners represent Singapore at the AYDA International Awards.</li><li>The AYDA Designer of the Year receives a fully sponsored place on the Harvard GSD Design Discovery Program, covering tuition, accommodation, airfare and visa support.</li></ul><p>Submit entries through the AYDA Singapore entry form on the Nippon Paint Singapore website.</p>
