<p>The PSC Scholarship (Teaching Service) is a prestigious government scholarship for students intending to become MOE teachers. Mathematics is among the approved teaching subjects, alongside Sciences, Languages, Humanities, Art and Music, Physical Education, and Social Sciences.</p><ul><li>Eligibility: Singapore citizens with strong academic records (GCE 'A' Level, IB, NUS High Diploma, or Polytechnic Diploma), demonstrated leadership qualities, and a genuine passion for education and the chosen teaching subject.</li><li>Award covers full tuition fees, maintenance and living allowances, and airfare for local or overseas study.</li><li>Service bond: 4 years for local study, 5 years for overseas non-English-speaking, or 6 years for overseas English-speaking; scholars return to serve as MOE teachers.</li><li>Scholars enrolled in the NIE PGDE programme also serve a concurrent 3-year PGDE bond.</li><li>2027 application period: 1 September 2026 to 15 March 2027.</li></ul><p>Applications are submitted via the PSC scholarship portal. Applicants can apply as pre-university candidates or mid-term during an undergraduate programme.</p>
