<p>FIRST Global Challenge is an annual international robotics Olympics where each participating nation sends a single team of students aged 14–18 to compete. Teams build and program robots to solve an engineering challenge themed around a global issue, culminating in a multi-day international event hosted in a different country each year.</p><ul><li>One team per nation; Singapore participates via its national partner and selected student representatives.</li><li>Participants are typically aged 14–18 (secondary school and pre-university age).</li><li>Multi-month build season culminating in a 4-day international competition (e.g. 2026 edition is in Incheon, Republic of Korea).</li><li>Past editions: 2023 Singapore (Hydrogen Horizons), 2024 Athens (Greece), 2025 Panama City.</li><li>Outcomes include medals, international recognition and exposure to a global STEM community.</li></ul><p>Interested students should contact the Singapore national partner for FIRST Global to express interest in national team selection.</p>
