About this opportunity

<p>An international 3D-printing design challenge organised by PrintLab with Autodesk. Participants design and prototype a 3D-printed product that improves the day-to-day life of someone with a disability or the elderly, combining CAD, design thinking and assistive-technology principles.</p><ul><li>Organised by PrintLab in partnership with Autodesk</li><li>Three age categories: under 14, 14–18 and over 18</li><li>Individual or team entries (up to 5 in the same age category)</li><li>2025–2026 cycle runs 16 May 2025 to 15 May 2026; submission deadline 15 May 2026</li><li>Winners announced 1 July 2026; six prizes per age group, including 3D printers</li><li>For under-18 winners, prizes are awarded to their school or organisation</li><li>Free to participate; includes access to PrintLab's online learning platform</li></ul><p>Teams register on the Make:able website and submit a short video and images of their 3D-printed prototype before the deadline.</p>
