<p>The Sidgwick Prize is an annual essay competition run from Cambridge for high-school aged students worldwide. Each year students respond to one of three set questions in eight disciplines, including Philosophy, and every essay receives substantive written feedback from academic specialists.</p><ul><li>Open to students aged 13–18 on the date of submission, any nationality</li><li>Single essay of up to 2,000 words submitted in .pdf</li><li>Registration fee of £12 (approx. USD 15) per essay</li><li>2026 key dates: registration opens 1 October 2025; submission deadline 30 June 2026; awards ceremony in Cambridge on 19 September 2026</li><li>Discipline winners receive £100 plus a 75% discount on the Cambridge summer residential course</li><li>Overall Sidgwick Prize winner receives £100 and a Sidgwick Fellowship covering full tuition, accommodation, and meals at the summer course</li><li>All participants receive a certificate; winning essays are published on the Sidgwick Prize website</li></ul><p>Register and submit an essay via the forms on the Sidgwick Prize site.</p>
