<p>The Pascal, Cayley and Fermat Contests are three 60-minute multiple-choice mathematics contests from the University of Waterloo's Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC), written on the same day by students in Grades 9, 10 and 11 respectively. They emphasise logical thinking and problem-solving, and are a common stepping stone to the Euclid Contest.</p> <ul> <li>Pascal: Grade 9 (Sec 3). Cayley: Grade 10 (Sec 4). Fermat: Grade 11 (Sec 5 / JC1). Motivated younger students may write, and strong students may attempt above their grade level.</li> <li>Format: 25 multiple-choice questions across three parts; maximum score 150.
