<p>The National STEM Talent Search (NSTS) is an annual competition run by Science Centre Singapore with support from the Ministry of Education. Inaugurated in 1995 and previously known as the A*STAR Talent Search, NSTS provides national recognition to Singapore students who excel in science and technology research, modelled on the Regeneron Science Talent Search in the United States.</p><ul><li>Open to Singapore students aged 15 to 21.</li><li>Entry is by invitation only: eligible participants in the Singapore Science &amp; Engineering Fair (SSEF) are invited through their teacher coordinators to submit to NSTS.</li><li>Four scientific categories: Biomedical Science; Computer Science &amp; Mathematics; Engineering; Material Science.</li><li>Awards include First, Second, and Third Prize plus Commendation Awards, with recognition at a national awards ceremony.</li><li>No entry fee.</li></ul><p>Eligible students receive an invitation email and Submission Requirement PDF through their school after qualifying at SSEF.</p>
