<p>The Singapore Statistics Competition is an annual poster competition organised by the NUS Department of Statistics and Data Science. Students tackle a well-specified research question by analysing a chosen dataset and present their findings as a statistical poster, building skills in statistical reasoning, data visualisation, and scientific communication.</p><ul><li>Open to upper secondary, polytechnic, and JC students in Singapore.</li><li>Participants may enter individually or in teams of up to five members.</li><li>Students are free to choose their topic; ESG-related themes (Environmental, Social, Governance) are preferred in recent editions.</li><li>Submissions require both physical and digital copies of the final poster.</li><li>Awards are given in secondary, polytechnic, JC, and (recently) university undergraduate categories.</li></ul><p>Registration is free; interested teams complete the registration form and email the digital poster to the NUS DSDS organiser by the annual deadline.</p>
