About this opportunity

<p>The MOE Teaching Scholarship/Award (Full-Term) is Singapore's flagship scholarship for aspiring teachers entering undergraduate study. It fully funds degree tuition plus a monthly allowance in exchange for a bonded teaching career with MOE.</p><ul><li>Open to Singapore Citizens or PRs willing to take citizenship, with strong academic and co-curricular records</li><li>Targets holders of GCE A-Level, IB Diploma, Polytechnic Diploma, NUS High School Diploma, or equivalent</li><li>Covers full undergraduate tuition fees and a monthly allowance; overseas scholars also receive return economy airfare</li><li>Scholars can enrol in the NTU-NIE Bachelor of Arts/Science (BABSc) programme</li><li>Two award types: the PSC-administered Teaching Scholarship (local or overseas study) and the MOE-administered Teaching Award (local only)</li><li>Teaching bond runs 4 years for local study, 5 years for non-English-speaking countries, or 6 years for English-speaking countries, with an additional 3-year bond after the NIE PGDE</li></ul><p>Apply through the MOE Teaching Scholarship/Award online form; A-Level applicants apply October to March, Diploma holders from February.</p>
