<p>The Engineering Innovation Challenge (EIC) is a national competition organised by the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) as part of National Engineers Day. Student teams design engineering solutions to real-world problems with mentorship from practising engineers, culminating in a judging showcase and prize ceremony at NED.</p><ul><li>Open to secondary school, JC, ITE, polytechnic, and university students in Singapore</li><li>Runs annually under the National Engineers Day (NED) umbrella</li><li>Teams work on innovation projects with guidance from assigned engineer-mentors</li><li>Winners are announced at the NED prize presentation ceremony</li></ul>
