<p>The Singapore Youth Film Festival (SYFF), presented by *SCAPE, is a national platform celebrating the achievements of young filmmakers in Singapore. Building on the legacy of the National Youth Film Awards that ran from 2015, SYFF combines a short-film competition with public screenings, festival talks and an awards ceremony.</p><ul><li>Student Category: open to full-time students in Singapore aged 35 and below, plus recent graduates whose film was produced while enrolled.</li><li>Open Youth Category: open to Singaporeans, PRs and long-term pass holders aged 35 and below.</li><li>Films up to 30 minutes are submitted via the online form in MOV (H.264, 1920x1080); non-English entries require English subtitles.</li><li>The SYFF 2026 edition ran Cinema and Festival Talks from 29 January to 8 February 2026, themed "Focus, Gather, Bloom".</li><li>Presented in partnership with Objectifs Centre for Photography and Film.</li></ul><p>Submissions are made through the Student or Open Youth Category form linked from the SYFF website during each edition's call for entries.</p>
