<p>SIMC2.0 is a biennial international mathematical and computational challenge jointly organised by NUS High School of Mathematics and Science and the Ministry of Education, running since 2008 (originally as SIMC). Teams apply mathematics and computing to solve real-world open problems across a multi-day event at NUS High School.</p><ul><li>Junior Challenge: students aged 14–16.</li><li>Senior Challenge: students aged 16–18, retaining the rigor of the original SIMC with a stronger computational element.</li><li>International teams are welcome alongside Singapore schools.</li><li>Scale: 53 schools from 33 countries participated in 2018; over 300 students from more than 20 countries at the 2024 edition in May.</li><li>Teams work collaboratively to develop mathematical and computational models and submit a report for judging.</li></ul><p>Registration is coordinated via participating schools; contact NUS High School for enrolment details.</p>
