<p>Repair Kopitiam is a community repair initiative run by Sustainable Living Lab. Volunteers are trained as Repair Coaches who help residents fix electrical appliances, mechanical items, and fabric at free monthly community repair events across Singapore — keeping useful items out of the landfill and building practical engineering skills along the way.</p><ul><li>10-session Repair Coach Training cycle held over a single semester (the S2 2026 cycle runs 7 June to 30 August 2026).</li><li>Recruitment for the S2 2026 intake opened on 20 January 2026.</li><li>Open to all ages and skill levels; no prior repair experience needed.</li><li>Eight locations island-wide: Yuhua, Tampines, Ang Mo Kio, Coral Ris (Pasir Ris), Choa Chu Kang, Jurong Lake Gardens (Passion Wave), City Sprouts (Henderson), and Bishan.</li><li>After training, coaches volunteer at ongoing community repair events.</li></ul><p>To apply, sign up via the Repair Kopitiam Volunteer page or email <a href="mailto:repairkopitiam@sustainablelivinglab.org">repairkopitiam@sustainablelivinglab.org</a>.</p>
