<p>The Singapore NIE Mathematics Challenge (NIEMC) is a 90-minute national online mathematics quiz run by the National Institute of Education at NTU, for Secondary 1, 2 and 3 students in Singapore schools. Questions are closely aligned to the MOE mathematics syllabuses.</p> <ul> <li>Eligibility: Secondary 1, 2 and 3 students from any Singapore school.</li> <li>Format: 90 minutes online; schools pick a slot within Weeks 9–10 of Term 2 and the assigned teacher invigilates.</li> <li>2026 registration closes 3 April.</li> <li>Fee: S$10 per student (excluding GST); non-refundable.</li> <li>Four award tiers: Participation, Credit, Distinction and High Distinction; schools with 40+ participants also receive aggregated class-level feedback.</li> </ul> <p>Registration is school-based — participating schools sign up via the NIEMC website and distribute individual access credentials to students.</p>
