About this opportunity

<p>The Singapore Physics League (SPhL) is a fully online, open-book team physics competition supported by the Institute of Physics Singapore and the Ministry of Education. Teams of 3–5 students race to solve quantitative physics problems with instant feedback and progressive problem unlocking, with any reference materials allowed except generative AI tools.</p><ul><li>Two tracks: <strong>Competitive</strong> (Junior for secondary students, Senior for pre-university) and <strong>Casual</strong> (open to anyone, held asynchronously).</li><li>Teams of 3, 4, or 5 students; cross-school and cross-level teams allowed.</li><li>Online contest: <strong>27 June 2026, 2:00–5:00 PM</strong> (3 hours).</li><li>Problem scope follows the IPhO syllabus; difficulty ranges from school-exam to national-olympiad level.</li><li>Selected Competitive teams are invited to the SPhL Grand Finals at SUTD on 18 July and 25 July 2026.</li></ul><p>Registration closes on 10 May 2026; only one team member needs to submit the registration form.</p>
