<p>The International Maths Challenge (IMC) is an online mathematics challenge for school-age students. It runs two programmes: the Two-Round Open Challenge for individual registrants, and the Online Simulated Maths Challenge (OSMC) which is invitation-only for selected schools. Singapore students can self-register for the Open Challenge from home.</p><ul><li>Open Challenge format (November 2026 cycle): Prelims on 21-22 November 2026, Finals on 5-6 December 2026 for students at or above the 70th percentile in Prelims.</li><li>Grades 7-12 sit 26 questions in 60 minutes; Grades 1-6 sit 20 questions in 45 minutes.</li><li>Registration deadline: 16 November 2026, 5 PM EST.</li><li>Open Challenge fees for individual registrants: USD 46 (Prelims) plus USD 29 (Finals).</li><li>Top scorers earn titles: 80-95th percentile = ELITIST; 95th percentile and above = CHAMPION.</li><li>Delivered as a secure online proctored exam; registration and results are handled on the IMC portal.</li></ul>
