About this opportunity

<p>The National Youth Orator Championships (NYOC) 2026 is Singapore's national public-speaking competition for students from Primary to University levels, organised by Master Speakers with partners including Mind Stretcher, the Speak Good English Movement, and Trinity College London (TCM Examinations). Entrants record a single unedited speech video on a chosen theme for their category, with semi-finals and grand finals held live.</p><ul><li>Categories by age: Lower Primary (P1-3, 1.5-2 min), Upper Primary (P4-6, 2-2.5 min), Lower Secondary (Sec 1-2, 2.5-3.5 min), Upper Secondary & Youth Open (Sec 3-5, JC, IB, Uni, Poly, ITE, 2.5-3.5 min).</li><li>Tentative timeline: competition launch July 2026, video submission deadline August 2026, semi-finalists announced September 2026, coaching weeks October 2026, live semi-finals October to November 2026, grand finals November 2026.</li><li>All participants receive a Certificate of Achievement; semi-finalists and finalists receive coaching from Master Speakers coaches, trophies, and finalist certificates.</li><li>Video must be recorded in one continuous take with no slides, props, music, or notes.</li></ul><p>Join the waitlist and submit entries through nyoc.sg. Record a continuous, unedited MP4 speech video within your category's duration, upload to cloud storage (Google Drive/OneDrive/Dropbox), and submit the link via the NYOC 2026 online form when announced.
