<p>The International Quant Championship (IQC) is WorldQuant BRAIN's flagship global quantitative finance competition. Teams build "alphas" — mathematical models that seek to predict future price movements — on the WorldQuant BRAIN simulation platform using historical market data and predefined operators.</p><ul><li>Open to participants 18 years or older; teams of 1–4 members, all from the same university.</li><li>Three stages: Stage 1 Qualifier (17 March – 18 May 2026), Stage 2 National/Regional Round (26 May – mid-July 2026), Stage 3 Global Finals (September 2026 in Singapore).</li><li>Stage 2 prizes: US$3,000 / US$2,000 / US$1,000. Global Finals prizes: US$20,000 / US$12,000 / US$8,000 (cash equivalent where cash is restricted).</li><li>Free to register and participate; no fee.</li><li>Top performers may also be considered for BRAIN research consultant, internship, or full-time roles at WorldQuant.</li></ul><p>Registration is through the BRAIN platform. Note: pre-university students are not eligible unless already enrolled at a university.</p>
