<p>The National STEM Talent Search (NSTS) is an annual competition by Science Centre Singapore, supported by the Ministry of Education. It gives national recognition to students who excel in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics research, selecting winners from among the top performers of the Singapore Science & Engineering Fair (SSEF).</p><ul><li>Open to Singaporean/PR students aged 15–21 who won Gold, Silver, or Bronze at SSEF</li><li>One team member per SSEF project may advance to NSTS</li><li>Candidates showcase and articulate their SSEF research projects at a shortlisting interview and a final judging interview</li><li>Prizes — First: S$5,000; Second: S$3,000; Third: S$2,000; Commendation: S$1,000; all winners also receive a trophy and certificate</li><li>Formerly known as the A*STAR Talent Search; modelled on the Regeneron Science Talent Search</li></ul><p>Invitations to eligible SSEF award winners are sent through their school's teacher coordinators.</p>
