About this opportunity
<p>The National AI Student Challenge (NAISC) is AI Singapore's annual student AI challenge, run with support from the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and industry partners. It gives students a platform to build practical AI skills on real-world problems, culminating in the AI Student Developer Conference.</p>
<ul>
<li>Multiple challenge tracks each year — the 2025 edition offered seven tracks spanning AI Singapore, Science Centre Singapore, DataRobot, Temus, Huawei, TikTok, and an AWS regional track.</li>
<li>Local tracks are open to full-time students studying in Singapore, including secondary, IP, JC, ITE and polytechnic students; NSFs have historically been eligible.</li>
<li>The AWS regional track is open to students studying in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines or Thailand.</li>
<li>Registration is first-come, first-served with limited slots per track; successful applicants are notified ahead of the challenge start.</li>
<li>Over 2,000 participants have taken part to date; rewards include cash prizes, certificates, and recognition from AI Singapore and IMDA.</li>
