About this opportunity

<p>The James Dyson Award is an international design engineering competition run by the James Dyson Foundation. It challenges entrants to design something that solves a problem, with entries judged on engineering thought, commercial viability, and sustainability.</p><ul><li>Eligibility: current university students and recent graduates (within 4 years) in product design, industrial design, or engineering; team leads must be in a qualifying subject</li><li>Countries: open in 28 countries and regions, including Singapore</li><li>Prizes: national winner £5,000; international winner £30,000; sustainability winner £30,000; international runners-up £5,000</li><li>2026 timeline: entries 11 March – 15 July; national winners announced 9 September; international winner announced 4 November</li><li>Format: online project submission; judged on engineering rigour, problem fit, and sustainability</li></ul><p>Enter online by registering an account and uploading your design project during the open window.</p>
