About this opportunity

<p>The International Mathematical Modelling Challenge (IM²C) Singapore is the national round of an international team competition in which four students from the same school work for five consecutive days to build a mathematical model for a real-world problem and submit a written report. Top Singapore entries advance to the international IM²C judging round.</p> <ul> <li>Open to Singapore secondary and JC students; teams of up to four from the same school, with a teacher advisor.</li> <li>Jointly organised by the Academy of Singapore Teachers, National Junior College and Raffles Girls' School.</li> <li>2026 registration window: 5–23 January.</li> <li>2026 competition: schools pick Period 1 (16–21 March) or Period 2 (24–29 March).</li> <li>Free to enter; certificates awarded in High Distinction, Distinction, Merit and Commendation tiers.</li> </ul> <p>Registration is handled by the school's team advisor via the IM²C Singapore website.</p>
