About this opportunity
<p>Heartware Network's National Day Parade (NDP) Hospitality Management programme trains youth volunteers to support Singapore's NDP on 9 August. Since 2000, Heartware has been running the hospitality team at the parade in partnership with the NDP Executive Committee, making this one of the longest-running youth volunteering roles tied to a national event.</p>
<ul>
<li>Open to youths aged 15 to 35 for general hospitality roles; leadership-committee positions are typically reserved for older volunteers.</li>
<li>Volunteers direct spectators from MRT stations to the venue, check tickets, help with seating, and distribute fun packs on parade days.</li>
<li>Training is provided in the months leading up to the parade, followed by deployment in July and August.</li>
<li>The programme builds public-speaking and interpersonal skills through a large-scale, live event.</li>
