About this opportunity

<p>The Euclid Contest is the University of Waterloo / CEMC's senior-level secondary-school mathematics contest, written annually by over 25,000 participants worldwide. Scores are used in University of Waterloo admissions and scholarship consideration.</p><ul><li>2.5-hour paper with 10 questions — a mix of final-answer and full-solution items, scored out of 100.</li><li>Solutions are graded on completeness, clarity and presentation, not just the final answer.</li><li>Eligibility: full-time secondary-school students; for the 2026 edition, born on or after 1 January 2007.</li><li>2026 contest outside North and South America: Wednesday, 1 April 2026.</li><li>Top 25% receive a Certificate of Distinction; each school's top scorer meeting the cut-off receives a Contest Medal.</li><li>Top-scoring international participants are listed in the International Honour Roll.</li><li>Written on paper in-school under supervisor-arranged proctoring; registration is handled by the school via the CEMC Contest Supervisor Portal.</li></ul>
