<p>The Singapore Young Photographer Award (SYPA) is a national photography competition for young photographers aged 13 to 25 based in Singapore, organised by DECK Photography Art Centre and founded by City Developments Limited (CDL). The 10th edition's theme is "Echoes of Home" — inviting entrants to explore what home means to them, their communities and their surroundings.</p><ul><li>Open call deadline: 31 May 2026, 23:59 SGT</li><li>Junior Category (13-18): portfolio of 5-7 images on 3 of 5 subjects (architecture, nature, landscape, portrait, still life) with a caption of up to 150 words</li><li>Youth Category (19-25): photo series of 7-10 images with a caption of up to 200 words</li><li>Photo Club Category: awarded to the photo club with the highest number and quality of submissions</li><li>Prizes totalling over S$8,000 including cash, Nikon camera bodies and lenses, Camera Rental Centre vouchers, and certificates</li><li>Top 5 finalists in each category are featured in the finalist exhibition at the 10th Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF)</li></ul><p>Register and submit via the DECK SYPA portal.
