About this opportunity

<p>The Youth Action Challenge (YAC) is a six-month programme run by the National Youth Council (NYC) Singapore as a key thrust of the SG Youth Action Plan. YAC empowers youth-led teams to champion ground-up initiatives on issues they care about — mental health, environment and sustainability, inclusivity and more — in partnership with government, businesses and community organisations.</p><ul><li>Eligibility: youth aged 15–35, Singapore Citizens or PRs (foreigners may join if teams are majority Singaporean/PR); for informal ground-up groups or young non-profits/social enterprises under two years old</li><li>Duration: six months per season, with curated workshops, mentorship and guidance from industry professionals</li><li>Funding: selected teams can receive up to S$50,000 in project grants</li><li>Partners: delivered in partnership with Citi Foundation and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP); top teams are linked to the regional Youth Co:Lab Summit</li><li>Cycle: organised in annual seasons — over 180 youths took part in Season 6 (October 2024 to April 2025)</li></ul><p>Registration opens each season on the NYC YAC page; follow NYC's channels for the next season's timeline.</p>
