<p>The Young Health Ambassadors' Programme (YHAP) is a three-day programme run by Public Health Service, a student-led group supported by NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the NUS Medical Society. It is designed for junior college and polytechnic students to build health literacy and become ambassadors for healthy lifestyles in their schools and communities.</p><ul><li>Three-day intensive with speaker sessions, innovation challenges, an Amazing Race and a community health debate</li><li>Participants represent different stakeholders in a simulated parliamentary-style debate on public health policy</li><li>Past editions have drawn over 200 students from a wide range of JCs and polytechnics</li><li>Run annually; participants receive the PHS YHAP certificate on completion</li><li>No cost to attend</li></ul><p>Interested students apply through their school or via the Public Health Service website when the annual intake opens.</p>
