<p>The Smart Nation Scholarship is a tri-agency tech scholarship jointly offered by GovTech, the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), and the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). It is aimed at JC, IB, and polytechnic students committed to a technology career in public service, with scholars fast-tracked into GovTech's Technology Associate Programme (TAP) upon graduation.</p><ul><li>Covers tuition and compulsory fees, plus a living allowance for day-to-day expenses</li><li>One-time allowance for IT equipment, warm clothing, and settling-in costs (for overseas scholars)</li><li>Service commitment: 4 years for local programmes, 6 years for overseas programmes</li><li>Access to mentors, alumni network, and rotations across different technology tracks</li><li>Selection involves a group assessment, individual technical test, and interviews with HR, Tech Leads, and senior leaders</li></ul><p>Applications open annually from 1 September to 31 March of the following year; the current cycle runs from 1 September 2026 to 31 March 2027.
