About this opportunity

<p>The NUH Healthcare Immersion Programme (HIP) is a 5-day job-shadowing attachment at National University Hospital for Singapore Citizens and PRs aged 17 and above who are considering a career in medicine. Day 1 covers orientation and sharing sessions with education leaders and residents; Days 2 to 5 are attachments with doctors in a clinical department.</p><ul><li>Open to A-Level, IB, NUS High, International School, polytechnic diploma, and pre-clinical medical students.</li><li>Runs in recurring monthly intakes across the year (Feb, Mar, Jun, Aug, Sep, Dec).</li><li>Certificate of completion issued for 100% attendance.</li><li>Strictly a hands-off observership; prohibited from ICU, operating theatres, labour wards, and radiation areas.</li><li>Requires proof of immunisation (MMR, Tdap, Varicella) and health insurance with hospitalisation coverage.</li></ul><p>Apply via the FormSG application.
