About this opportunity
Teams of five pre-university students research a social issue, analyse data and propose policy solutions; the 2026 run focused on Singapore's demographics. Along the way, teams attend masterclasses and workshops led by NTU social science professors and industry professionals, meet NTU students and faculty, and compete for cash prizes. The 2025 edition was supported by MDDI, OnePeople.sg and the Strategy Group at the Prime Minister's Office.
Who can apply
Pre-university students from junior colleges, polytechnics, IB schools and Millennia Institute, in teams of five. Each school may register up to three teams.
How to apply
Schools register teams, usually through a teacher or school representative. The 2026 run took registrations until 25 May 2026 and ran from 30 May to 18 July 2026; dates for 2027 have not been announced yet.
