<p>Youth Stewards for Nature (YSN) is an annual NParks youth development programme where participants aged 18 to 25 work in teams with NParks staff and partner mentors to co-develop City in Nature projects. Participants gain fieldwork, research, and community-outreach experience, and are awarded a YSN certificate at the closing event.</p><ul><li>Eligibility: Singapore-based youths aged 18–25.</li><li>Duration: 6 to 9 months per cohort, around 6 hours of independent or group work per week.</li><li>Three project tracks: community animal management and animal health; biodiversity and wildlife; urban greenery.</li><li>Completion recognised as a Youth Steward for Nature and may qualify for National Youth Achievement Awards (NYAA) accreditation.</li><li>Format: in-person across various NParks sites in Singapore.</li></ul><p>Registration opens annually; the 2026 intake has closed.
