<p>The National Youth Orator Championships (NYOC) is a Singapore-wide public-speaking competition organised by Master Speakers, open to students from Primary through University levels. Entrants record a single-take speech video on a themed prompt and submit it online, with semi-finalists receiving coaching from Master Speakers' coaches.</p><ul><li>Categories: Lower Primary (Pri 1-3), Upper Primary (Pri 4-6), Lower Secondary (Sec 1-2), and Upper Secondary &amp; Youth Open (Sec 3-5, JC, IB, Uni, Poly, ITE).</li><li>Speech duration varies by category (1.5-3.5 minutes).</li><li>Video must be one continuous recording, no notes, no props, no slides, no editing, no background music.</li><li>All participants receive a Certificate of Achievement; semi-finalists and finalists receive coaching, awards, trophies, and finalist certificates.</li><li>2026 theme: The Singapore We Want. Video entries close 30 September 2026 (18 October 2026 for Primary 6 students); live semi-finals run 14 to 15 November and the in-person Grand Finals on 21 November 2026. Supporting partners include Mind Stretcher, Speak Good English Movement, and TCM Examinations.</li></ul><p>Entries are submitted as a video link through the online form on the official site.</p>
