About this opportunity

<p>The Legal Aid Bureau's Pre-Law Internship is open to students who have secured a place to read law at a scheduled university. Interns observe and assist with legal aid work serving lower-income Singaporeans, gaining exposure to client interviews, case files, and court processes.</p><ul><li>Open to pre-law students only (post-JC, with a confirmed scheduled-university offer).</li><li>Minimum commitment of two months, full-time, during office hours.</li><li>Based at the Legal Aid Bureau in Singapore.</li><li>Applications require a 1–2 page essay titled "10 interesting things about myself which I think would be relevant to LAB"; without it the application is not considered.</li></ul><p>Applications are submitted through the Legal Aid Bureau e-services portal; processing takes about one month.</p>
