About this opportunity

<p>The IYNA-INS Neuroethics Essay Competition is an annual global essay contest co-hosted by the International Youth Neuroscience Association (IYNA) and the International Neuroethics Society (INS), with support from the Dana Foundation. Students explore a focused problem at the intersection of brain sciences, ethics and law.</p> <ul> <li>Open to secondary and high school students, post-secondary students, and early-career trainees from any country.</li> <li>Four submission categories: IYNA-INS High School Essay, General Audience Essay, Academic Essay, and Video Essay.</li> <li>Written essays must be in English by a single author and meet per-category word limits; videos must meet stated time limits.</li> <li>Winners receive cash prizes, a free one-year INS student membership, and stipends to attend the INS annual meeting.</li> <li>Submission deadline falls in mid-to-late July each year.</li> </ul> <p>Entries are submitted via the contest entry form and online portal linked on the IYNA Neuroethics page.</p>
