<p>Cat Welfare Society (CWS) runs a 4 to 6 week-long responsible-pet-ownership awareness programme for students. Participants experience what it takes to care for a cat through a simulation exercise (with a bag of flour or an egg) and then run an awareness booth at their school to educate peers on responsible cat ownership.</p><ul><li>Designed for secondary school and tertiary students; teacher coordination may be required</li><li>Includes a responsibility-simulation exercise and a student-led school awareness booth</li><li>Programme duration: 4 to 6 weeks</li><li>Aims to build empathy, initiative and student leadership around cat welfare</li></ul><p>Schools and students interested in running the programme can contact CWS through the Working with Youths page on the Cat Welfare Society website.</p>
