<p>The Youth Model ASEAN Conference (YMAC) is Singapore Polytechnic's flagship youth leadership conference, where delegates from regional Institutes of Higher Learning role-play the 10 ASEAN member states in a multi-day simulation of an ASEAN meeting. Organised under SP's Singapore Polytechnic Outstanding Talent (SPOT) programme, YMAC brings together youth leaders from across Southeast Asia to debate regional issues, develop policy positions, and build cross-border networks.</p><ul><li>Open to students from Southeast Asian Institutes of Higher Learning, including polytechnic and pre-university students</li><li>Around 200 delegates representing the 10 ASEAN member states in prior editions</li><li>Involves an ASEAN meeting simulation with dialogue, negotiation, and joint statement formulation</li><li>Supported by Singapore's Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and the National Youth Council</li><li>The 2026 edition, the 14th annual, took place in April 2026 at the Singapore Polytechnic Convention Centre</li></ul><p>Delegates apply through Singapore Polytechnic's SPOT pages when applications open for each year's edition.</p>
