<p>The International Quant Championship (IQC) is WorldQuant's annual global quantitative finance competition for university students, run on the WorldQuant BRAIN simulation platform. Teams build predictive trading strategies ("alphas") using historical market data and backtest them in real time.</p> <ul> <li>Open to anyone 18 years or older; teams of 1–4 members, each associated with the same university (current students, faculty or alumni eligible).</li> <li>Three-stage competition: Stage 1 qualifier (March–May), national/regional rounds, and global finals held in-person in Singapore in September.</li> <li>Free to register; participants create a WorldQuant BRAIN account to access the platform.</li> <li>US$100,000 prize pool across winning teams, plus access to WorldQuant's career pipeline and a trip to the Global Finals.</li> <li>2026 is the competition's 6th year; 2025 drew close to 80,000 participants from 11,000+ universities across 142 countries.</li> </ul> <p>Registration and platform access are on the WorldQuant BRAIN site.</p>
