<p>As a Patrol Volunteer with Waterways Watch Society, volunteers patrol parks and waterways in Singapore on bicycle or kayak to pick up litter, engage members of the public on keeping waterways clean, and report unusual environmental issues.</p> <ul> <li>Skills required: proficient in cycling or kayaking</li> <li>Suitable for people who want to make a difference while staying active</li> <li>Locations: Kallang Riverside Park (Marina Promenade), Punggol Waterway Park, and Lakeside Garden at Jurong Lake Gardens</li> <li>Typical patrol slots: Kallang weekdays 10am–6pm and weekends 10am–1pm; Punggol on Wednesdays 10am–1pm and Saturdays 3–6pm; Lakeside Garden on Sundays 3–6pm</li> <li>Volunteers may commit ad hoc or regularly</li> </ul> <p>To register, complete the sign-up form linked on the Waterways Watch Society volunteer page.</p>
