SMRT runs trains and buses in Singapore, and its internships place students in five tracks: Trains, Roads, Engineering, Experience and Corporate Services. Interns get technical and functional training, mentoring, job shadowing and a buddy; one past intern worked with the equipment used to run Circle Line trains. Outstanding interns are strongly considered for full-time jobs under SMRT's Internship Conversion Programme.
