<p>The Singapore Secondary Schools Debating Championships (SSSDC) is an annual English-language debating tournament for secondary, integrated programme, and international schools in Singapore. Organised since 1999 by the Julia Gabriel Centre, with the Debate Association (Singapore) co-organising since 2006, it is widely regarded as the de facto national schools debate tournament.</p><ul><li>Open to teams from around 70 secondary, integrated programme, and international schools across Singapore each year</li><li>Held over a series of Friday evenings from February to April</li><li>Uses a modified version of the World Schools Debating Championship (WSDC) format</li><li>Three divisions (I, II, III) so schools compete against peers of similar debating experience</li></ul><p>For more information, schools can email Mark Gabriel at markgabriel@juliagabriel.com.</p>
