<p>The Singapore Model United Nations (SMUN) is the flagship annual Model UN conference hosted by the NUS Political Science Society (PSSOC). Running since 2003, it is one of the leading pre-tertiary and tertiary MUN conferences in the Asia-Pacific, bringing delegates together to simulate UN committee sessions on issues of diplomacy, security, society and current affairs.</p><ul><li>Open to secondary, pre-university and tertiary students from Singapore and across the Asia-Pacific region; individual delegate and institutional registration are both accepted.</li><li>SMUN 2026 is the 23rd edition and runs 5–8 June 2026 as a physical conference at NUS University Town.</li><li>Delegates research a chosen committee and country, draft position papers, and debate and vote on resolutions over the four-day conference.</li><li>Awards include Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate and Honourable Mention, alongside certificates of participation for all delegates.</li><li>A registration fee applies; details and the application form are posted on the SMUN website closer to each edition.</li></ul>
