About this opportunity
An online research mentorship programme that pairs a high school student one-to-one with a PhD-level mentor to build an original project, such as a research paper, app or podcast. It includes 10 hour-long mentor sessions, two rounds of writing feedback and access to a database of places to publish, present or compete. Projects typically take 3 to 6 months, and there is no lab access, so projects are done from home.
Who can apply
High school students; Polygence says it has no age limit for its programmes. Sessions are held online over Zoom. Some projects need prior skills, for example programming for advanced computer science topics.
