<p>The Oxford Scholastica Essay Competition is a free annual international essay competition for students aged 15-18, organised by Oxford Scholastica Academy. Entrants submit a short essay (up to about 500 words) on a chosen subject from a wide list of academic disciplines, with shortlisted entrants invited to an online Awards Ceremony.</p><ul><li>Open to students aged 15-18 globally; entries are submitted online.</li><li>Free to enter.</li><li>Subject categories span Law, Medicine, Business, Economics, History, Philosophy, Politics, Psychology, Mathematics, Engineering, Biology, Computer Science, Writing & Journalism and more.</li><li>Prizes include a fully-funded place at Oxford Summer School for the most outstanding essay, free online courses for subject winners, and partial scholarships plus Certificates of Achievement for Highly Commended entrants.</li><li>Essay length up to 3,800 characters (~500 words); Harvard referencing required.</li></ul><p>Submit your essay through the Oxford Scholastica website before the annual deadline (May cycle in 2025).</p>
