<p>The National Robotics Competition (NRC) is an annual national-level robotics challenge run by Science Centre Singapore with support from the Ministry of Education and partners. Teams design, build, and program robots to complete missions tied to a seasonal theme, with categories spanning primary, secondary, and tertiary levels.</p><ul><li>Secondary category is open to students aged 13–17 (including Secondary 5); tertiary category serves students aged 17–20.</li><li>Regular Category uses LEGO-based robots (max 25×25×25 cm) to solve field missions.</li><li>Open Category invites teams to build an innovative robotics solution aligned with the year's theme using any materials, fitting within a 2m × 2m booth.</li><li>AI Maker Series requires participants to train a machine-learning model for the robot to interpret mission cards.</li><li>Teams of 2–3 participants work under a coach or mentor.</li></ul><p>Teams register via the partner platform listed on the Science Centre competition page each season.</p>
